This site’s purpose to share information from a study of Genealogy and other information on the Bradburn family name in Australia.

This is a part of the global Bradburn name study, which is researching the Bradburn name from its beginning (as Bradbourne) in England in the 1200s, through all the descendants down to the point of living Bradburns (but they are excluded from any study publication due to Privacy considerations). 

This study is linked to the English, Canadian, and Irish Bradburn name studies. (See links at right)

The Master List identifies the 268 people I have found records for, thus far.  These are people born with the Bradburn surname who lived in Australia starting with the first immigrants who were transported as convicts in the early 1800s.  In the Family Trees section to the right, you can see what I have as of this date

As this is a “One-Name” surnamed-focused study, spouses are included, but not their ancestry as that would be under a different surname.  Likewise, children of Bradburn-born daughters are not included as they also with have different surnames.
